Join us for Family, Food and fun.

In 1986 at the wedding of Mike and Diane Susoev in San Francisco, family members who had not seen each other in years vowed to never let physical distance separate them for long periods again. The first 4th of July reunion was held in 1987 and was hosted by the Abbs family in Las Vegas, NV. According to Mike and Di, “We discussed having an annual reunion, but thought it would be too expensive for travel and daunting for family schedules.  We then discussed holding the reunion every 3 years, but nixed that option with the realization that should a family have to miss a reunion, it would be a full 6 years before seeing everyone again!  Far too long!  So we settled on every other year, or a biennial event, with an upcoming family host and location voted on at the close of each reunion.”

Since then, the Bakholdin/Baholdin/Susoev families have held reunions on a biennial basis.  Every other year, we hold this beautiful celebration of family. Please join us in continuing this tradition.

We will be looking to rent a space with small cabins or rooms on one property for privacy and convenience. More info to come later this year.
